the 26th Annual Strong Kids Safe Kids Festival

Children are our future, however in Chemung County we have some of the highest rates of child maltreatment and admission to foster care in New York State. Over half our children do not eat balanced meals at home or get sufficient exercise. These are staggering statistics - statistics that can change through programs such as Chemung County’s Annual Strong Kids Safe Kids Festival. Your contribution to this unique community event can provide families and kids with a day of fun educational activities and free family entertainment aimed at promoting awareness of children’s health and safety issues, and the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
The 2009 Strong Kids Festival drew a record of 15,000 attendees, including over 100 participating agencies and vendors. A blazing performance by Flame the Band, a giant "color it yourself" mural created by a local artist, the return of the Guthrie Helicopter, and horse back rides are just some of the highlights from the 2009 Strong Kids Safe Kids Festival. We have big plans for making the 2010 SKSK Festival even bigger and better - including expanded arts and culture acitivities, return of the Science and Discovery Van, and enhancing the school supply giveaway.
There are several ways to promote your business in our community as a sponsor of the 25th Annual Strong Kids Safe Kids event.
